In my latest role as Head of Design, I directed a studio comprising four designers, spearheading the creation of innovative, smart videos for major enterprises within this startup's technology ecosystem.
To meet the demands of efficiently producing complex smart videos, I developed a comprehensive workflow that balanced speed and quality.
This method delivered exceptional results and served as a blueprint for teaching and overseeing our in-house designers and esteemed collaborators.

Combining the flexibility of the web with the storytelling of video
Given their web-based and interactive nature, wireframes are essential for smart videos to streamline stakeholder approval for key elements like data integration, interactivity flow, and CTAs.

Additionally, I presented style frames for key scenes, incorporating dynamic information, buttons, and special features to secure approval for the video's design look and feel.
Integration & QA
Once all video layers are connected, the video undergoes integration, linking the project to live data from the client's database.
In the final stage, Quality Assurance (QA) testing is conducted on various devices such as Android, iOS, and different browsers to identify and address any bugs, ensuring smooth functionality.

Types of connectors for to connect layers to data in the play ground
Once the Adobe After Effects animation is complete, the video is uploaded via the Blings extension to the online playground, where layers are linked to data using conectors.
Animation & Online Implementation
The QA process often required a back-and-forth between Adobe After Effects and the SaaS eco system.
Results
The Blings studio was able to deliver and create 2 full projects every week for over 11 clients all while catering to the marketing team needs and demo creation for the sales team

Enterprises accumulate significant information about their users, including details such as the user's name, age, last purchase, or search history.
We harness this information to craft a compelling, personalized narrative and dynamic user journey that effectively prompts users to engage with the established CTA's.

3. STORYLINE
The video narrative employs data, interactivity, and a unique user journey with dynamic scenes, strategically guiding users to ultimately click on the CTA's.
In the dynamic McDonald's Premium video, we personalized the experience for every user by addressing them by name. Additionally, we fostered engagement by allowing users to choose and explore the unique story behind each burger.
1. KPI's & CTA's
The first step is grasping the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and providing insights into determining the calls-to-action (CTAs) for the video.
This understanding becomes instrumental in later evaluating the video's effectiveness with precision
The KPI for the McDonald's Premium campaign centered on engaging the members of their loyalty program, with the new premium burgers. As a result, the video's primary CTA was
"Click to Order"
enabling the customer to make the purchase directly within the video.
